Great Panther resumes full operations at its Guanajuato Mine Complex after conclusion of assessment of explosives theft

VANCOUVER, Feb. 16, 2016 /CNW/ - GREAT PANTHER SILVER LIMITED (TSX: GPR; NYSE MKT: GPL) ("Great Panther"; the "Company") announces that it has received official notice allowing the Company to resume the use of explosives at its Guanajuato Mine Complex (the "GMC"). The Mexican regulatory authority responsible for permitting and regulating the use of explosives has now formally concluded its review of the previously announced theft of explosives from one of the mines at the GMC, and the Company has resumed full production at the mines.
The Company is endeavouring to make up for the temporary disruption to production and, while this may have a minor effect on the first quarter's results, the Company's 2016 production guidance remains as previously announced.
