About Great Minds
Great Minds was founded by a group of education leaders in 2007 to define and encourage knowledge-rich comprehensive education for all American schoolchildren.
Eureka Math, a PK-12 curriculum developed by Great Minds, is the only comprehensive math curriculum aligned to the Common Core State Standards at every grade. It was developed as EngageNY math under an agreement with the New York State Department of Education. Eureka Math recently won top marks from the independent EdReports.org, and it and the EngageNY version were identified in a RAND Corporation report as the most widely used math curriculum in the country.
Wit & Wisdom, a new, text-based K-8 English curriculum developed by Great Minds, has been named an exemplar in an Achieve EQuIP review and was recently adopted by the School District of Philadelphia. This knowledge-rich curriculum taps the power of literature, history, science and art to stimulate a love for learning while meeting the expectations of the new standards.
