Great Clips To Open First Salon In Mobile, Ala.

MINNEAPOLIS, April 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Great Clips, the world's largest hair salon brand, announced today it will open its first location in Mobile, Ala., on April 16 at 27955 Hwy 98 in Daphne. Located in the Magnolia Place shopping center, the salon will host a grand opening celebration and Cut-A-Thon on Saturday, April 23 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., to benefit the University of South Alabama Children's & Women's Hospital, a local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.

During the Cut-A-Thon, customers can receive specially priced haircuts for $2.99 and 100 percent of the day's sales will benefit the local hospital. In addition, guests who purchase a Children's Miracle Network balloon for a $1 donation will receive a coupon for $2 off a future haircut. Attendees will also have the chance to enter to win one of five giveaways for free haircuts for a year.

Great Clips in Daphne is owned and operated by franchisees Hunter and Mary Hughes. They join a network of more than 3,900 Great Clips salons throughout the United States and Canada.
