Great America Hosts 25th Annual Courageous Kids Day
600 Young Cancer Patients And Their Families Enjoy Mother's Day At Great America
Celebrity Guests Include Olympian Polina Edmunds & Earthquakes Star Shea Salinas
SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On Mother's Day, May 11, 2014, California's Great America amusement park will celebrate the 25th annual Courageous Kids Day and host 600 young cancer patients and their families for a wonderful day of rides, celebrities, food and fun.
Great America has partnered with Courageous Kids and the American Cancer Society for 25 years to help brighten the day of young kids and their families facing difficult times. During that past quarter century, almost 12,500 young cancer patients and their families have been part of the incredible event.

Celebrities attending include Olympian Polina Edmunds, San Jose Earthquakes star Shea Salinas and San Jose Sharks mascot S.J. Sharkie. There will also be visits from Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts Gang.
In addition to Great America's more than 70 rides, slides and attractions, Courageous Kids activities include sand castle building, face painting, balloon toss contests and much, much more.
