Sunday Fireworks Spectacular At 9:45 PM; Boomerang Bay Open All Weekend
SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- California's Great America will honor America's current and past service men and women Memorial Day Weekend. The park will open Memorial Day itself with a ceremony (9:45 am) featuring a WWII veteran, a military color guard and performers singing God Bless America and the National Anthem. Memorial Day will also feature military vehicles and service members greeting guests from 10am-2pm and an all-you-can-eat BBQ for $14.99.
For the entire Memorial Day Weekend, May 24, 25 and 26, all current and retired military personnel will receive free admission to Great America (with valid ID). In addition, attending family members are eligible for $19.99 tickets (up to 6 family members).
A fireworks spectacular, set to patriotic music, will decorate the sky above California's Great America at 9:45 p.m. on Sunday May 25, celebrating those who have sacrificed so much.

"We want everyone to find time to honor and remember all current, past and deceased military service men and women this weekend. They truly make our country great."
Memorial Day Weekend marks the beginning of Great America's daily operations. Boomerang Bay water park, included with admission to Great America, will be open Memorial Day weekend and open daily May 31.
The picnic meal will include pulled pork, hamburgers baked beans, potato salad, ice cream treats and soft drinks.
