GrapeCity Developer Solutions Releases ComponentOne 2019v1 Software
Introducing new controls and updates that enable development flexibility and control
PITTSBURGH, March 26, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- GrapeCity, a global provider of award-winning enterprise software development tools, is pleased to announce the release of ComponentOne 2019v1 with exciting new features for the .NET UI toolkit, including the ComponentOne Control Panel, a new DataFilter, enhanced data slicers, BulletGraphs, and other new controls, along with Visual Studio 2019 support across all platforms. Additionally, ComponentOne is offering more value in it's bundles than ever before.
ComponentOne Enterprise licenses that are purchased new or renewed in 2019 will now include ComponentOne Studio for Xamarin as well as Wijmo Core, enabling high quality mobile and web development. Some specialized web controls for MVC (including OLAP, FlexSheet, MultiRow, and Financial Chart) will be moving to ComponentOne Ultimate.
ComponentOne Ultimate is moving to a lower $1995 price point and will now include advanced web controls for both MVC and JavaScript, (including OLAP, FlexSheet, MultiRow, and Financial Chart) and will continue to include priority support as well as Wijmo Enterprise.
New in this release, the ComponentOne Control Panel provides developers with fast access to samples, sales, and support. It greatly improves the way you install, version, update, license, and maintain ComponentOne libraries.
In WinForms updates, DataFilter, a powerful new UI addition, provides an eCommerce-like filter to accompany any data-aware control. Other new controls include the BulletGraph and CollectionView.
ASP.NET MVC includes a new OLAP Slicer that provides a quick way to edit filters applied to PivotField objects, which makes it easier to understand what is shown in filtered PivotGrid and PivotChart controls. Other additions include a new Multi-Column Combo sample that extends the Flex Grid and updates to the Control Wizard that allow you to use OLAP, Tab, DashboardLayout controls with improved support for licensing and updating project resources.
XAML updates for WPF and UWP includes improvements to the Simplified Ribbon, which has been updated to use C1Icon (with support for image, font, or vector graphics can be used for buttons) and comes with improved the support. FlexGrid has been augmented with full fext filtering capabilities that behave similarly to a search box, and it allows developers to highlight any matches found in the grid that match their search criteria.
For Xamarin, FlexGrid has been updated with a new animations and an export feature allows developers to easily export data to text, CSV, and formatted HTML. Input controls now support right-to-left, which is important for localizing languages. Finally, better support for cross platform vector graphics has been added to C1Icon via C1PathIcon; data can now easily be resized or colored within applications.
"ComponentOne 2019v1 includes updates that make our tools more powerful and useful than ever before," said Kelley Ricker, ComponentOne Product Manager at GrapeCity. "Not only has the functionality upgraded, we also updated the pricing structure and the way developers interact with our libraries."
