Granite Bank Acquires Cousins Home Lending

PORTSMOUTH, N.H., Sept. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Granite Bank announced today that it is acquiring Cousins Home Lending, a Portsmouth, NH-based residential lending company, and has retained founder Anna-Lisa Cousins as Senior Vice President, Residential Mortgage Lending to manage and develop its new division of Cousins Home Lending – a division of Granite Bank.

Anna-Lisa Cousins established Cousins Home Lending in 2002, and has been in the mortgage banking industry for over 20 years. Cousins received a B.S. in Financial Management from Franklin Pierce College. She is a resident of Greenland and plays an active role in many local organizations, including Seacoast Board of Realtors, York County Council of Realtors, Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce, Mortgage Bankers Association and NH Builders Association.

Current Cousins Home Lending employees will join Granite Bank at a new Loan Production Office at 200 International Drive, Suite 155, Portsmouth, NH.

The acquisition will result in additional home mortgage options for consumers, including mortgages guaranteed by the VA, FHA, and USDA – RD. With locations throughout New Hampshire, Granite Bank's expert loan officers will be available throughout New Hampshire to service customers and fellow community members and provide the best lending programs available in the Granite State.
