(Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, today announced that GrandLife Hotels in New York City has selected the Guest 360™ property management system. "Following an extensive evaluation of property management systems, we determined that the Guest 360 solution by Agilysys will provide our hotels with the latest features and functionality, enabling us to streamline operations and process guest information more efficiently," said Ellis Yee, vice president of GrandLife Hotels. "We were impressed with the software's architecture and with the company's commitment to mobile, iPad, tablet and other emerging technology. We believe the Guest 360 solution has the flexibility to meet our immediate and long-range needs, and the Agilysys support team has been outstanding."
The Guest 360 solution is the industry's first full-function property management system built from the ground up to utilize service-oriented architecture, which provides a highly scalable and flexible solution for hotels and multi-property operations. The open database and cross-platform solution takes an entirely new approach to inventory, using the same attributes-based criteria hoteliers use to sell rooms, such as 'view', 'bed type', 'room class' and 'smoking/nonsmoking.' The Guest 360 property management system also features a centralized repository for guest profiles called Guest Hub, which contains guest history, itineraries, interests and preferences. The system's intuitive features move beyond traditional property management to assist in predicting guest preferences and make suggestions based on guest recognition.
"The Guest 360 solution offers a real departure from traditional property management systems that merely track reservations and perform check-in and check-out," said Tina Stehle, senior vice president and general manager of Agilysys Hospitality Solutions Group. "By capturing guest events, information and preferences, the solution enables hotels to truly know their guests; and, as a result, realize a competitive advantage. Guests increasingly expect a personalized experience from their hotel stays, and the Guest 360 solution enables properties to deliver this with ease."
The Soho Grand and Tribeca Grand are downtown New York's original hotel pioneers; the first to introduce the luxury lifestyle hotel experience to downtown Manhattan. The hotels are located in two of the city's most sought-after areas, alongside world-renowned art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Since their debut, they have supported and promoted fashion, film, art, music and design through their two iconic neighborhood properties and via the international GrandLifeNYC lifestyle brand. The Grands have emerged as modern classics, offering impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, stunning decor and a vibrant local take on dining, nightlife and entertainment.
