CHICAGO, Aug. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Grainger (NYSE: GWW) today reported sales results for the month of July 2010. Daily sales increased 21 percent versus July 2009. Results for the month included a 5 percentage point positive contribution from acquisitions and a 1 percentage point contribution from foreign exchange. Excluding acquisitions and foreign exchange, daily sales for the company increased 15 percent. July had 21 selling days in 2010 and 22 in 2009. The 2010 third quarter will have the same number of selling days (64) as the 2009 third quarter.
