Grady Health System Recognized for Integrated Marketing with National Award
ATLANTA, Nov. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Grady Health System announced today that its "I Wouldn't Be Here Without Grady" marketing campaign has been honored in a national competition sponsored by Modern Healthcare and Advertising Age magazines.
Grady was one of only three healthcare providers to receive a Healthcare Marketing Impact Award for its integrated marketing campaign. The award honored the campaign that features people whose lives were saved by the heroic efforts of Grady clinicians.
"The award recognizes the fact that Grady's campaign is effective, creative and socially responsible," said Fawn Lopez publisher of Modern Healthcare, who presented Grady with the award. "Our goal in presenting the IMPACT awards is to recognize the industry's best advertising, marketing, promotional and communications campaigns across all media platforms. Grady's campaign delivers the kind of impact we seek to honor."
Grady's integrated campaign to promote the health system won the IMPACT Silver Award. While advertising agencies developed the other campaigns, Grady produces "I Wouldn't Be Here Without Grady" in-house.
It is the third significant recognition of Grady's marketing. Earlier this year, Grady Senior Vice President Lindsay Caulfield was named one of the nation's Top Hospital Marketers of the Year by DTC Perspectives, a national healthcare consulting firm. Caulfield, who oversees Grady's marketing and public affairs division, drove the development of the "I Wouldn't Be Here Without Grady" campaign and in 2014, Caulfield was named Atlanta Corporate Marketer of the Year.
"Grady has made significant strides in stabilizing its finances, investing in new services and improving the quality of care, but Lindsay's strategic vision and her marketing efforts have done much to restore public confidence in our healthcare leadership," said John Haupert, Grady President & CEO. "The awards and recognition she has received from outside experts simply underscore the value she delivers to Grady each and every day."
Grady was honored at the 2015 Healthcare Marketing IMPACT Awards Dinner on Oct. 29, in Chicago.
