Graciela Mori Returns to MegaTV on Paparazzi Magazine with an Exclusive Special Series "The Hidden History of the Family of Luis Miguel"
Luis Miguel: The Dark Side of Success
---The special series will reveal the story behind the story of success of the Mexican idol---
MIAMI, Nov. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Spanish Broadcasting System Inc., (SBS) (Nasdaq: SBSA) announced that its television network, MegaTV, is pleased to present from Wednesday, November 16 to Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at 7 pm (ET) - 6 pm (CT) a special series with Graciela Mori on Paparazzi Magazine, about the life and roots of the Mexican singer Luis Miguel in Spain, presented in six chapters.
Starting on Wednesday November 16, the first chapter of the first episode of "The Hidden History of the Family of Luis Miguel" will be seen on air in the program Paparazzi Magazine, and will include statements from persons who met his siblings, parents and grandparents. Often referred to as the "Mexican Sun," Luis Miguel was born to a Spanish father and Italian mother. This series includes statements from his relatives and friends in San Fernando (Cadiz, Spain) and in Puerto Rico, the island where he was born.
"I feel at home. Paparazzi is what it has always been, and this is a return to the work I have always done. Along with Fernando Castells, we conducted this independent production when we learned that Luis Miguel was not receiving the messages from his family in Spain; it would be sad for him to lose these properties that have great sentimental value to him, way beyond their monetary value," Graciela Mori said.
After a total of four months of conversations and a 19-hour trip, Graciela Mori arrived in the town of San Fernando, Cadiz in Spain where she learned more about the hidden history of Luis Miguel's past. During the investigation, she had access to exclusive documents never before seen. In addition, during the series, she became acquainted with different statements of persons who knew the “Mexican Sun,” his brothers, grandparents and parents.
Throughout the special series, Graciela will provide a general overview on what is happening with the singer's assets in Spain and will invite you to visit, exclusively, the apartment where Luis Miguel and his younger brother Sergio Gallego Basteri lived during their childhood.
It is a touching story - controversial, shocking and sad since the family of the singer, born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, on April 19, 1970 and also a Mexican citizen, continues to give the public something to talk about.
The special series will be presented on Paparazzi Magazine beginning Wednesday November 16th until Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011, with Graciela Mori. Paparrazzi Magazine is hosted by Javier Ceriani and Orietta De Luque at 7 pm (ET) - 6 pm (CT ) by MegaTV.
