ON NEWSSTANDS NATIONWIDE - NOVEMBER 23, 2010
NEW YORK Nov. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- GQ magazine announces its 15th Men of the Year issue featuring this year's outstanding achievers, leaders, and renegades: cultural icons who have impacted our society, from entertainment and music to sports and politics. The 2010 Men of the Year are profiled in the December issue, on newsstands November 23, accompanied by a fashion portfolio shot by famed photographers Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. The issue came to life last week as GQ hosted a star-studded affair at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles to celebrate this year's distinguished honorees.
The issue features cultural highs and lows of 2010, the "Best Stuff of the Year" (everything a man could possibly want), "The Year in Music" (breaking down the gossip, winners, losers, and tunes to download now), plus Alan Richman names L.A.'s Umami Burger, "Burger of the Year." Other notables recognized in the issue include Jonathan Franzen ("Writer of the Year"), Jennifer Lawrence ("Obsession of the Year"), Admiral Mike Mullen ("Game Changer of the Year"), Mike "the Situation" Sorrentino ("Sensation of the Year"), Attorney General Eric Holder, Vice President Joe Biden, and more.
