TULSA, Okla., March 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Registration is open for a five-day, in-depth GPSA Engineering Data Book training course scheduled for March 25-29 in Denver. For more than 7 decades, the book has helped midstream engineers determine operating and design parameters for gas gathering and processing facilities. The course targets midstream engineers, operators, plant personnel and technical sales personnel.
Now on its 14th edition, the GPSA Engineering Data Book serves as a guide to accepted engineering practices for estimating, feasibility studies, preliminary design, and for making operating decisions, and this particular course helps professionals put the book to practical use in their day-to-day tasks.
"The caliber of instructors combined with the information presented rivals any of the top training providers out there," said GPA Midstream Director of Technical Services Martin Erne. "Our intention is to provide practical, hands-on and industry-specific education developed by subject matter experts who use the GPSA Engineering Data Book daily.
Denver is a great host city for this course because it has a strong midstream technical personnel presence, and those best suited for this course often have to seek out similar training options outside of Colorado."
But the course isn't limited to those in the Centennial State, nor to association members only. It's open to all but limited to 25 students and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration cost is $2,500 for GPA Midstream and GPSA members and $3,500 for non-members.
"Companies that initially send one or two employees to this course almost always send more to subsequent courses," Erne said. "Some have even contacted us about bringing this course to their headquarters for a group of their employees alone. GPA Midstream introduced this course as a response to our members' requests for quality, affordable training, and we continue to host courses in energy-rich areas as a service to our members and the midstream industry."
