GPI to Present RFIDPoker(R), eReady(R) tables at G2E Asia
Table games leader will present new advances in RFID gaming and security applications, furniture design
LAS VEGAS, June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gaming Partners International Corporation (Nasdaq: GPIC) announced today that it will present the latest in table game products and RFID casino applications at the Global Gaming Expo Asia ("G2E Asia") tradeshow to be held on June 9-10 at the Cotai Strip® CotaiExpo™ at the Venetian Macao. In addition to its core products such as casino chips and plaques, gaming tables, precision dice, playing cards, table layouts and accessories, the GPI exhibition will also feature the latest advances in RFID applications, furniture design and themed products.
The stand will feature GPI's RFIDPoker®, developed to improve accuracy and increase the speed of various actions on the poker table. Easily fitted on any poker table, GPI's RFIDPoker works with RFID chips to provide error-free, automatic and constant reading of the poker pot, calculates charges and rakes, and provides essential data and statistics such as game analysis, table performances, round-ups lists, and daily totals.
RFIDPoker further helps to speed up the game and has proven to increase hands per hour by as much as 30%, improving revenues for casinos, and reducing wait times for players both at the game and waiting for a table.
To enhance its RFIDPoker offering, GPI's new Progressive Poker system features three incrementing jackpots that can be won at any RFIDPoker Texas Hold 'Em table. The Progressive Poker system can link all poker tables in the casino and draws an extra rake from each pot to feed the progressive jackpots, which are displayed on the main LCD display.
Also featured will be GPI's newest version of the Electronic Chips Surveillance (ECS™) application. The ECS reader fits in all gaming area points of entry and detects casino chips armed with RFID microchips. The ECS system is ideal for deterring the unwanted removal of gaming chips by casino personnel.
The highlight of GPI's RFID Cage application is the new countertop reader that works in three dimensions, allowing the cage operator to accurately read chips whether they are in stacks, in chip racks or in a pile. It also features a Video Interface Unit that can record actual chip activity within a frame on a closed circuit TV security system.
GPI will also showcase its eReady® table, designed and built especially to accommodate the electronic equipment that is increasingly required on gaming tables. The eReady table design allows for ventilation and cooling of electronic equipment, elimination of signal interference of RFID transmitters and specially-built areas for shufflers and bill validators that are ergonomically placed for dealer convenience and comfort. The GPI eReady table will feature an RFID chip tray, a mini table top chip authenticator, and RFID bet rating.
Also featured on the eReady table is GPI's new RFID TableSolutions application that interfaces with JCM® bill validators and the chip tray to allow casino personnel to get a real-time status of the cash and chip currency at the table. This application utilizes a built-in display that allows for fills/credits management, chip authentication and tracking, and reading of bets for calculations based on game play, all directly at the table.
GPI's Themed Products help extend casino marketing efforts all the way to the gaming table. Utilizing chips, layouts and dice, casinos can market directly to a captive audience – the table game player. GPI's highly-customizable themed products are the same high-quality products casinos use every day – just customized for a specific event or milestone. Whether used to commemorate holidays, promote concerts or sporting events or celebrate casino anniversaries, players will love the uniqueness of these products and casino marketing will love the impact they make.
Another product enhancement being highlighted at G2E Asia is GPI's FX® layouts with digital graphics. These new layouts offer the best of the digital full-graphic capabilities with GPI's patented FX synthetic process and exclusive material, popular for its durability and wearability.
