GPI Selected to Supply Table Game Equipment for Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Newest Las Vegas casino to open with GPI gaming tables, casino chips
LAS VEGAS, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gaming Partners International Corporation (Nasdaq: GPIC), a leading provider of casino currency and table game equipment worldwide, announced that it has received purchase orders from the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to supply gaming tables and casino chips. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is scheduled to open in December 2010.
GPI will deliver 102 custom-built gaming tables for the property's casino, including the high limit room and the specialty pits both in the casino and around the pool area. The hand-crafted tables, which will include blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat and other table games, are specially designed to be seamlessly incorporated into the upscale aesthetic decor of the casino.
GPI will also be providing the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas with all of its casino chips. The order includes over 460,000 gaming chips from two of GPI's popular lines of casino currency - Paulson® chips and Bud Jones® chips.
