GPI Granted Conditional License from Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board
Table game equipment supplier gets go-ahead to sell gaming tables, casino chips and other related products
LAS VEGAS, April 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gaming Partners International Corporation (Nasdaq: GPIC), a leading provider of casino currency and table game equipment worldwide, announced that it has been granted the necessary conditional licenses by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board which will permit GPI to immediately sell chips, dice, playing cards, gaming tables, and related table game equipment to casinos throughout Pennsylvania.
The state legislature of Pennsylvania voted earlier this year to legalize table games in its 14 existing casinos. To date, nine casinos have been granted licenses to operate table games.
