Governor Wolf Signs Two Bills Into Law
HARRISBURG, Pa., June 30, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Wolf signed two bills into law this morning. The following pieces of legislation are now law:
- Act 13 – Senate Bill 622, sponsored by Senator Bob Mensch, eliminate three reports by the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee. The bill eliminates a report on studies of a cost benefit analysis of providing mental health coverage benefits, the impact of casino gaming on the lottery fund and a performance audit of PENNDOT.
- Act 14 – Senate Bill 699, sponsored by Senator John Yudichak, authorizes the Commonwealth, through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, to acquire eight parcels of land in Plymouth Township, Luzerne County, to be used for park purposes.
