Governor Rendell: State Offices Throughout PA Will Open on Thursday; Harrisburg State Offices on a 2-Hour Delay
HARRISBURG, Pa., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Edward G. Rendell today said state offices in the Capitol Complex will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 11, while state offices throughout the state, including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Reading, Scranton, Allentown, and Erie will operate on normal schedules.
"Everywhere in Pennsylvania, the state's emergency responders did a fantastic job battling this latest snow storm," Governor Rendell said. "We need just a little more time in Harrisburg because of the sheer volume of snow received."
State offices throughout the state were closed on Wednesday because of the snow storm.
