Governor Rendell Orders Flags at Capitol and in Cambria County to Fly at Half-Staff through Sept. 10 in Honor of Lance Cpl. Joshua T. Twigg
HARRISBURG, Pa., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Edward G. Rendell today ordered all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and on commonwealth facilities in Cambria County to be flown at half-staff in honor of Lance Cpl. Joshua T. Twigg, of Indiana, Pa.
Authorities said Lance Cpl. Twigg, 21, was killed while serving on active duty in Afghanistan. He was a member of the 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset on Friday, Sept. 10.
