Governor Rendell Orders Flags at Capitol and in Cambria County to Fly at Half-Staff in Honor of Lance Cpl. Ralph Fabbri
HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ – Governor Edward G. Rendell today ordered all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and on commonwealth facilities in Cambria County to be flown at half-staff in honor of Lance Cpl. Ralph J. Fabbri of Gallitzin.
Authorities said Lance Cpl. Fabbri, 20, died Sept. 28 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
Flags should remain at half-staff through sunset on Oct. 6.
