Governor Rendell Offers Condolences on Death of WCO David L. Grove
Orders Pennsylvania Flags Lowered to Half Staff
HARRISBURG, Pa., Nov. 12, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Edward G. Rendell today offered condolences to the family and friends of Pennsylvania Game Commission Wildlife Conservation Officer David L. Grove of Fairfield, Adams County, who was killed last night in the line of duty.
Governor Rendell ordered all Pennsylvania flags at state facilities throughout the commonwealth to be flown at half-staff in honor of Officer Grove. Flags should remain lowered through his internment.
Grove, 31, was shot and killed around 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 in Freedom Township, Adams County while checking into reports of possible illegal activity. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
