OLYMPIA, Wash., Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Joining more than a dozen governors and hundreds of city and country leaders nationwide, Gov. Jay Inslee has issued a proclamation declaring Jan. 20-26 School Choice Week in Washington.
Throughout the state of Washington, 431 school choice events and activities have been planned, including rallies, roundtable discussions, festivals, and school fairs. "We are excited that parents in the Evergreen State are so enthusiastic for school choice, and we're grateful that Gov. Inslee issued a proclamation showing his support for that," said Andrew Campanella, president of National School Choice Week. "We wish Washington families the best as they advocate increased educational opportunity and join in the National School Choice Week celebration across the nation."
