Governor Corbett Orders PA Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Arlen Specter
HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett today ordered Pennsylvania flags at the Capitol Complex and all commonwealth facilities to fly at half-staff in honor of former U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter, who died Sunday.
Specter, 82, of Philadelphia, represented Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate for 30 years.
Flags shall be flown at half-staff until sundown on Tuesday, Oct. 16, the day of Specter's internment.
All Pennsylvanians are invited to join in this tribute.
