Governor Corbett Orders Flags at Capitol Complex and in York County to Fly at Half-Staff Aug. 23 to Honor USAF Tech. Sgt. Daniel Zerbe
HARRISBURG, Pa., Aug. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett today ordered U.S. and Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in York County to fly at half-staff on Aug. 23 to honor U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Daniel Zerbe, who will be buried that day at Arlington National Cemetery.
Zerbe, 28, of Red Lion, was among 30 SEALS, sailors, soldiers and airmen who died Aug. 6 when their helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan's Wardak province.
All Pennsylvanians are invited to join in this tribute.
