Governor Corbett Orders Flags at Capitol and in Beaver County to Fly at Half-Staff in Honor of Sgt. Robert C. Sisson Jr.
HARRISBURG, Pa., Feb. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett today ordered all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Beaver County to be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, March 1 in honor of U.S. Army Sgt. Robert C. Sisson Jr. of Aliquippa.
Sgt. Sisson, 29, died in a non-combat related incident on Feb. 21 in Kandahar District, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.
Flags should remain at half staff through sunset on March 1.
