Governor Corbett Issues Flag Order to Honor U.S. Navy Diver
HARRISBURG, Pa., May 30, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett today ordered all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Perry County to fly at half-staff on Thursday, May 31 to honor U.S. Navy Diver 3rd Class Ryan M. Bennett.
Bennett, 20, died May 19 while snorkeling in Guam. He was assigned to the USS Frank Cable.
Bennett's funeral is scheduled for May 31 in Marysville, his hometown.
All Pennsylvanians are invited to join in this tribute.
