WASHINGTON, Feb. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Government employees from the federal, state and local levels will join with union leaders and lawmakers at a noontime rally Tuesday to call on Congress to raise wages for working class Americans.
The rally is being organized by the American Federation of Government Employees, the largest union representing federal and D.C. government workers.
AFGE members will march from the Hyatt Regency to Upper Senate Park for the noon rally, where they will be joined by government employees from other labor organizations and a contingent of lawmakers.
