Gotham Air Announces Commuter And Summer Destination Expansion

NEW YORK, April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Gotham Air, the luxury helicopter travel company offering affordable six-minute flights from Manhattan to JFK and Newark Airports, announces shared charter flights for weekend getaways and daily commuter destinations.  The routes will launch on Thursday, May 21st (Memorial Day Weekend) with reservations beginning today on GothamAir.com and forthcoming on the app.

The expansion will include shared charter helicopter flights from Manhattan to The Hamptons (Southampton, East Hampton, Montauk), Upstate New York (Westchester), New Jersey (Morristown, Atlantic City, Belmar/Wall), Massachusetts (Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Provincetown) and Washington D.C. Gotham Air allows travelers to either choose an individual seat from shared charter flights already listed on their platform or request a new crowdsourced flight if their desired date and time is not listed. Once four to six seats have been sold, the charter flight is confirmed. Completely private helicopter charters are also available at any time.
