Got Digital Talent? Vitamin T Marks the Hottest Jobs
Digital creative talent agency announces the five hottest creative job opportunities
BOSTON, Oct. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital creative staffing firm Vitamin T today announced the top five most in-demand creative jobs in North America. According to Vitamin T's data for Q3 2012, design and user experience topped the list with 39 percent of the job opportunities received, with front end development coming in second at 15 percent. Complimentary roles including content development, project management and digital marketing jobs round out the top five job opportunities for creatives.
The average annual salary equivalents for the top five most in-demand creative jobs is $76,500, based on freelance pay rates and salary at conversion [Vitamin T does not do traditional direct hire placement]. User Experience roles received the highest average salary of $94,000, with Interactive Design roles bringing in an average salary of $81,000.
"We've seen a surge of new job opportunities in the creative space requiring high demand digital skills," said Susie Hall, president of Vitamin T. "Our fastest growing areas are creative talent who bring strong user experience and front end development skills, with growth rates of 51 and 75 percent respectively over the prior year."
Equally impressive is the increase in creative temp-to-hire roles received, with a 72 percent increase year over year. "Between the effects of the economy and the nature of creative work, freelance-to-perm is an ideal situation for both talent and clients," said Hall. "We expect to see this trend continue even as the economy rebounds."
