Gordon Ramsay UK restaurants will manage their phone, walk-in and online reservations using the OpenTable Electronic Reservation Book at each location. In addition, OpenTable will power real-time, online reservations from the GordonRamsay.com website as well as through bookings from its popular restaurant-reservation website, toptable.com, and through its extensive network of partners.
Gordon Ramsay Holdings runs some of the finest restaurants in the UK including the three Michelin starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Gordon Ramsay at Claridges, Maze, Petrus, and Savoy Grill. The group also operates several other popular London venues including the recently opened Bread Street Kitchen, Foxtrot Oscar, The Narrow, Plane Food, and York and Albany.
"The best-in-class floor management that the OpenTable system provides, coupled with the benefits of having real-time availability and access to a vibrant diner community via toptable.com and the OpenTable partner network were all key factors in our decision to appoint OpenTable across the whole restaurant group," commented Stuart Gillies, Managing Director, Gordon Ramsay Holdings.
"We are delighted to be working with Gordon Ramsay Holdings, and pleased that the success of the OpenTable solution at Bread Street Kitchen demonstrated how our technology and diner network provide tangible operational benefits and help generate more bookings," comments Chris Wood, Managing Director of OpenTable Europe. "By providing real-time reservation availability across all Ramsay restaurants and across our vast diner network, we can help them manage their bookings more effectively and maximise their business potential."
OpenTable has more than 25,000 restaurant customers, which include 73 of the 150 Michelin starred restaurants in the UK, and 115 of the 130 Michelin starred restaurants in the U.S. The company has seated more than 280 million diners around the world, representing more than $10 billion spent at partner restaurants.
