Shaun White, on his first run as a GoPro athlete, won his 5th consecutive Winter X Games gold while landing the first-ever perfect score in Snowboard SuperPipe history. Together, GoPro athletes won four medals at the Winter X Games. Other gold medals were won by Tom Wallisch in Skiing Slopestyle and Jamie Anderson in Snowboard Slopestyle. Hannah Teter won bronze in women's Snowboard SuperPipe.
