November's election will determine which party controls the US Senate in the next session. Recent polls indicate that enough seats are in "play" that leadership of both the House and the Senate is at stake. The Senators are responsible for the campaign committees' activities in support of their party's candidates, including strategy, fundraising, research and media.
The luncheon begins at 12:30 p.m. Reserve at (202) 662-7501 or [email protected] . Cost of luncheon is $17 for National Press Club members, $28 for their guests and $35 for the general public. To submit a question in advance, put CAMPAIGN30 in the subject line and email to [email protected] before 11 a.m. on the day of the luncheon.
