Based on a survey of U.S. consumers, Goodyear earned a rating of 74.4, ranking it 32nd on the 2010 Boston College Corporate Social Responsibility Index. Goodyear is the only company in the automotive or tire industries listed.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Index captures public perceptions about the corporate citizenship, governance and workplace practices of more than 200 companies in the United States.
