Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake to Open 30th Location

BALTIMORE, Jan. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake will open its newest retail location, Goodwill Outlet Plus, on Thursday January 19^th at 9 a.m. The Outlet Plus is located at 138 Carroll Island Road Baltimore, MD 21220 and will be open Monday through Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. 

Goodwill's newest retail concept, Outlet Plus, features Goodwill's Outlet concept, where items are sold per pound with the additional plus of clothing being sold at drastically reduced rates, more than fifty percent off regular Goodwill retail prices.

The new location marks the 10th store Goodwill has in Baltimore County. Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake will now have 30 retail locations in its territory which covers Central Maryland and the Eastern Shore. The 15,000 square foot location will create ten new jobs in the community. Area residents will also be able to donate unwanted clothing and household items at the location.

By donating and shopping at Goodwill, consumers help fund job training and placement programs for those with disabilities or other disadvantaging conditions.
