Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc. to hold 58th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner & Resource Fair
BALTIMORE, Nov. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc., the local nonprofit that helps prepare people to secure and retain employment and build successful independent lives, will hold its 58th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner and Resource Fair on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 11:45 am until 2:45 pm at the Baltimore Convention Center.
This year over 300 volunteers from across Maryland will join together to provide turkey and all the trimmings to approximately 3,000 people with disabilities or special needs. The Thanksgiving dinner and resource fair is one of the longest running Thanksgiving events in the Baltimore area and tickets are available only through social service agencies or by contacting Goodwill directly.
In addition to the Baltimore Thanksgiving dinner, Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake will also host its 25th Annual Thanksgiving dinner in Annapolis at the Asbury United Methodist Church from 11:45 am until 2:45 pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.
