Goodrich Names Wendy Taylor as Vice President, Internal Audit

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 13, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Goodrich Corporation (NYSE: GR) has named Wendy Taylor as vice president, internal audit, reporting to Terry Linnert, executive vice president, administration and general counsel. Taylor joins Goodrich from Deloitte & Touche, LLP in Charlotte, N.C., where she served as partner, advisory services.  A photo of Taylor is available here.

Commenting on the appointment, Linnert said, "Wendy has the right experience to lead Goodrich's internal audit activities including operational, financial, governmental and IT areas. She will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement in internal controls across the enterprise, and will provide assistance in due diligence and integration activities for acquisitions."

Prior to joining Goodrich, Taylor spent 22 years with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in roles of increasing responsibility working with publicly-held global corporations.  Her focus was on auditing, accounting, finance, information technology and corporate governance. She gained significant experience in financial, operational and information systems auditing and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. She is actively involved in the Urban League of Central Carolinas, serving on the executive committee and as treasurer on its board of directors.

Taylor's appointment is effective May 10, 2010.
