Business users require access to information quickly, on the move and on multiple devices. Mobile workers need to be able to quickly search, read, and compose emails; review, edit and share documents; manage contacts and schedule meetings with colleagues. Enhancements to the Good Collaboration Suite deliver the mobile business experience that users want, on multiple devices, while also offering seamless integration between apps and workflows.
More Powerful Business Experiences on Mobile Devices
Good for Enterprise 2.3 now delivers a superior, business-class calendar experience over the consumer apps found on iOS and Android devices. Features such as replying, forwarding, and adding attachments to calendar invites are unique to the Good for Enterprise application and enable business users to be more engaged and get more work done while on the road. The calendar user interface has also been redesigned to enable increased ease of use for visually impaired users.
Tighter Integration between Collaboration Suite Apps
New releases of Good Connect and Good Share are also now available. These releases deliver tight integration between Good for Enterprise, Good Connect and Good Share enabling rich and secure corporate file sharing workflows. Mobile business users can now simply link to and open files from Good Share using their Good for Enterprise email or through Good Connect. In addition, Good Share 3.0 introduces more than 50 new features, such as automatically mapping drives on a Windows PC to display on all of the user's devices. Good Share also leverages the Good Dynamics® Shared Services Framework, to deliver integrated, next-gen workflows with third-party ISVs. Good Connect 2.2 now supports Microsoft Lync 2013 and five additional languages, including Spanish, Italian, Dutch, French and German, making it ready out-of-the-box for global enterprises.
In a recent Gartner report[1], analyst Monica Basso notes that mobile devices are enabling a new generation of collaboration, and three drivers are rapidly boosting mobile collaboration strategies and investments in the enterprise: bring your own device (BYOD), personal cloud file sharing, and the increasing availability of mobile apps. She continues to point out that empowering mobile workers with mobile collaboration capabilities through smart devices, personal cloud sharing, and mobile apps is a smart move for organizations to innovate in the workplace and stay competitive.
"Good continues to improve the user experience for our customers, while maintaining the security of corporate communications and data," said Christy Wyatt, CEO of Good Technology. "More and more customers come to us looking for increased security through an integrated and intuitive mobile user experience tailored for business, including BlackBerry users looking for alternative platforms. We're best positioned to help them migrate to the most secure mobility provider in the industry."
For BlackBerry users looking to migrate, Good Technology is the most secure mobility provider for alternative platforms. Long considered the industry leader in connected containerization, Good offers BlackBerry customers a secure alternative to protect critical apps and data on Corporate Liable, BYOD and COPE devices across multiple platforms. Unlike other alternatives, Good's approach does not require additional investment in costly VPN hardware and related support, but employs a similar architecture to BlackBerry that is trusted by IT professionals. Good for Enterprise is the only mobile messaging solution for iOS and Android that is Common Criteria EAL-4+ certified and which uses FIPS 140-2 validated encryption.
Good Technology recently announced a new GFE licensing model and current promotional price of $5 per user, per month. For additional information about GFE, please visit: http://www1.good.com/applications/collaboration-suite/good-for-enterprise.html.
