SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Good Technology™, the leader in secure mobility, announced today it was named a finalist in the Mobile Enterprise Innovation category of CTIA's MobITs Awards competition. Enhancing performance, efficiency and productivity inside the enterprise, the MobITs Awards feature the most innovative IT solutions that help companies secure their operations and improve their customers' experience.
MobITs Awards winners will be announced Wednesday, September 10 from 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the MobileCON Thought Leadership Stage 3.
Good's Mobile Service Manager (MSM) provides end-to-end monitoring of the mobile enterprise and real-time monitoring across systems, delivering the visibility IT needs to help manage a complex infrastructure both inside and outside the firewall. Without comprehensive visibility, support staff is unable to resolve user issues and ensure user satisfaction and operations staff is unable to ensure service and business reliability. By utilizing Good MSM, support organizations can diagnose and resolve issues quickly or enable a User Self-Service option, providing the supportability users demand. In addition, Good MSM delivers proactive alerting, rapid incident resolution, and environment tuning, enabling IT operations to deliver the reliability the business requires.
"Mobility creates an entirely new challenge for IT organizations, as they are tasked with maintaining service in an environment comprised of infrastructure both inside and outside the firewall," said Lynn Lucas, Chief Marketing Officer at Good Technology. "Good MSM allows organizations to operationalize mobility, by providing comprehensive management and monitoring across EAS, iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry environments. We're excited that such a reputable organization has recognized this innovative solution from our product portfolio."
"CTIA awards recognize the best and most innovative products and services for wireless companies looking to improve their operations and their engagement with their customers," said Robert Mesirow, CTIA Vice President and Show Director.
Along with CTIA's two other awards programs, E-Tech Awards and Hot for the Holidays, there were almost 300 entries submitted and scored by more than 50 industry experts, analysts and media.
Super Mobility Week attendees and online users will also have the opportunity to choose a "Crowd Favorite" by voting for their favorite product, not just finalists, in each program. Online voting is open now and runs until Monday, September 8 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Super Mobility Week attendees can still vote via text onsite starting September 8 until 10:00 a.m. ET Wednesday, September 10.
