DENVER, July 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Good Buy Gear, a full-service marketplace that's reinventing how parents buy and sell gently used baby and kids' products, like strollers, furniture and toys, has announced a partnership with Hope House of Colorado. Hope House provides free self-sufficiency programs to teen moms, including Residential, GED and College & Career Support services. They will serve 200 teen moms and 300 children this year alone.
"We are thrilled to partner with Good Buy Gear and so appreciate that their customers can choose to give their payout to Hope House," says Lisa Steven, founder & executive director of Hope House. "Kristin and her team are clearly dedicated to giving back to the local community, and we are honored that they believe in the teen moms at Hope House who are working hard to break the cycle of poverty and build a new life for themselves and their children."
"We started this company to solve a personal pain point and always knew there would be a way to support the local community as our business grew." said CEO and co-founder Kristin Langenfeld, who started the business out of her garage in 2016 with COO and co-founder, Jessica Crothers. "Providing busy parents with an opportunity to easily declutter and donate their proceeds to an amazing organization like Hope House is a win-win situation for all." adds Jessica.
