Golden State Foods Announces Organizational Changes To Execute Accelerated Growth And Global Expansion
The New Structure is Focused on Driving Innovation to Benefit GSF's Customers
IRVINE, Calif., March 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Golden State Foods (GSF), one of the largest diversified food processors and distributors in the United States, recently announced several changes to its executive leadership team and global food operations to further align its global growth strategy. Joe Heffington, formerly corporate vice president and chief accounting officer, has been promoted to corporate senior vice president and chief financial officer. Brian Dick, formerly corporate vice president and president, global liquid products North America, has been promoted to corporate senior vice president and president, global liquid products and GSF Fresh! produce. Multiple other roles have been redefined to support this new executive leadership and customer growth.
A 35-year veteran in accounting and financial leadership, as the new corporate senior vice president and chief financial officer, Heffington will lead all financial functions for the company, including accounting, finance, corporate tax and corporate development. As corporate senior vice president and president, global liquid products and GSF Fresh! produce, Brian Dick will leverage his 20 years of international food processing operations expertise to oversee all global liquid products operations along with GSF Fresh! operations worldwide.

- Carol Fawcett, corporate vice president and chief information officer;
- Guilda Javaheri, chief technology officer.
In addition to Brian Dick's promotion, GSF's global food operations have three additional promotions, including:
- John Maguire, corporate vice president and president, liquid products North America;
- Kevin Casto, group senior vice president manufacturing, liquid products North America;
- Eric Treon, group senior business director, global liquid products.
