Goldberg Jones Law Firm Sponsors Justice Equality

SEATTLE, Aug. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Goldberg Jones, a family law firm focused on fathers' rights, sponsored St. Andrew Legal Clinic's (SALC) Race for Justice. This annual event helps fund the legal clinic that provides access to legal services for low-income families in Multnoman, Washington, Clackamas and Columbia counties in Oregon. The services provided by SALC ensure low-income families have the legal resources available to protect their rights within the Oregon court system.

This year's race drew over 700 participants and raised a record breaking $153,641. The daylong event featured kids' activities, a children's fun run, and culminated in the family-friendly 5K run. Goldberg Jones attorney and partner Rick Jones stated, "We are proud Goldberg Jones is able to sponsor an event that helps to sustain an important organization like St. Andrew Legal Clinic. The services they provide are vital to furthering equality in justice and protecting the interests of children."  

The Race for Justice brought together attorneys, judges, administrators, volunteers, and kids of all ages. Although these sponsors, runners and pledge-raisers were competing for bragging rights, prizes, and the coveted Bronze Sneaker —they were united in doing good for a noble cause.
