Goldberg Jones Family Law Attorney Amy Broderick Elected to San Diego County Bar Association Family Law Section

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Goldberg Jones is proud to announce that Amy Broderick of our San Diego office has been elected to serve as Vice Chair of the San Diego County Bar Association Family Law Section.

Amy is a graduate of Wheaton College with a BA in Anthropology and earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. She joined Goldberg Jones in 2015 and has been an asset to our team. She is popular with clients and a welcome influence among our staff. Miss Broderick has previously been recognized for "Excellent achievement in the study of trial advocacy," "excellence in advocacy," "best brief" and was a national finalist with the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and The American College of Trial Lawyers.

Prior to being elected to Vice Chair, Amy was elected to serve last year as an At-Large Member of the section. Elected each year, the Vice Chair assists the Chair in overseeing all activities of the section to ensure that it meets the SDCBA's goals and objectives.

Amy's duties include assuming the duties of the Chair in his or her absence, assisting the Chair in ensuring all tasks assigned to the section are planned and coordinated in collaboration with the SDCBA leadership and internal team in accordance with the SDCBA's policies and procedures, attending all orientations, meetings, and events planned by the SDCBA for section chairs, and encouraging active participation by section members in the activities for the section and the SDCBA including encouraging mid and late career members to formally or informally mentor newer attorneys.
