Goldberg Jones Attorney Cristina Nuno Elected to San Diego County Bar Association Family Law Section

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Goldberg Jones is pleased to announce that attorney Cristina Nuno has been elected to serve as a "Member at Large" on the San Diego County Bar Association Family Law Section!

Cristina joined Goldberg Jones this year and has quickly become a great asset to our team. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Diego and completed her Juris Doctor at the University of San Diego School of Law where she served as the President of the La Raza Law Student Association and Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee. She also volunteered with the Domestic Violence Clinic and worked as a clerk for several organizations including the Employee Rights Center and the San Diego Superior Court Family Law Facilitator's Office.

The San Diego County Bar Association has different sub-sections based on areas of law. Each section has a Chair, Vice-Chair, and one to three members at large on their board. Cristina was elected as one of two at-large members of the Family Law Section and her term will run from January 1st to December 31st, 2016. Her duties will include attending meetings and events of the executive committee, carrying out assignments designated by the committee and adhering to the roles and responsibilities of the committee.

Cristina states, "I'm looking forward to serving on the executive committee and bringing more opportunities for continuing legal education and community involvement for our members of the family law section."
