Gold Star Mothers to Host Ceremony Honoring 22 Fallen Service Members, Families at Air Force Memorial

ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Gold Star Mothers will host an Honor and Remember ceremony at the Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2014.  The ceremony will honor 22 Pararescuemen and Combat Controllers killed in action in Iraq and Afghanistan since September 11, 2001, by laying a wreath in their memory and presenting a Gold Star flag to their families.

Speakers for the ceremony include leaders from various organizations including the Air Force Association and the Air Force Sergeants Association.  Major General Lee K. Levy, II, Vice Director for Logistics (J-4), Joint Staff, will provide the keynote address.
