Gold Resource Corporation Added to Russell 3000 and Russell Global Indexes
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., July 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gold Resource Corporation (NYSE Amex: GORO) is pleased to announce it has been added to the Russell 3000® and Russell Global® indexes when Russell Investments reconstituted its comprehensive set of U.S. and global equity indexes on June 24, 2011. Gold Resource Corporation is a low-cost gold producer with operations in southern Mexico. The Company has returned over $20M to shareholders in special dividends since declaring commercial production in July 2010.
Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for both index funds and benchmarks for passive and active investment strategies. Gold Resource Corporation will hold its membership until the Russell reconstitutes its indexes in June 2012.
