Gold Fields Guidance For September 2011 Quarter
JOHANNESBURG, October 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
Gold Fields Limited (Gold Fields) (JSE, NYSE, NASDAQ Dubai: GFI) today announced that attributable Group production for the September 2011 quarter (Q3 2011) is expected to be approximately 900,000 gold equivalent ounces, which is 3 per cent higher than the previous quarter (Q2 2011 - 872,000oz). The 3 per cent improvement in production was achieved despite the interruption in production in July which occurred during the five day national industrial action over the wage negotiation process.
