Gold Eagle Co. Receives Prestigious President's "E" Award for Exports

The Company received the award during the Department of Commerce's 50th Annual President's "E" Award ceremony held on May 17, 2012. Secretary of Commerce John Bryson presented the award to Gold Eagle executives.

The President's "E" Award was created by President John F. Kennedy in 1961. There are four categories of the President's "E" Awards. U.S. House Representative for Illinois Dan Lipinski recognized Gold Eagle's Co. award by issuing a congratulatory statement printed in the Congressional Record of May 10, 2012. A total of 41 U.S. companies and organizations were presented with the President's "E" Award at the May 17, 2012 World Trade Week ceremonies in Washington DC.

All nominations are reviewed by the President's "E" Award Committee, which is chaired by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and includes representatives of EXLM Bank, the Small Business Administration, and the Departments of Agriculture, Labor, State, and Transportation.
