Several celebrities expressed comments while being introduced to the GOFoods Foundation. Melissa McCarthy, "Bridesmaids" Academy Award nominee for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, said that charitable food initiatives were near and dear to her heart, and Lauren Cohan, actress from the new hit TV series, "The Walking Dead," shared that she understood that food storage meant that "in the zombie apocalypse you actually have something to eat." Kristi Lauren, from the TV series "I Hate My Teenage Daughter," said she especially appreciated the GoFoods Foundation Los Angeles Regional Food Bank initiative, giving her "goosebumps."
GOFoods has not only partnered with GBK and celebrities but also national and local press, many of whom will donate thousands and thousands of meals to those in need living in Los Angeles area.
"As an invited guest at the GBK Gift Lounge, GOFoods has made some lifetime connections with the national press and celebrities at the Oscars weekend to grow the mission and vision to Feed and Prosper the World with our give back foundation [GOFoods Foundation]," explained Brad Stewart. "We will touch millions one meal at a time. Hundreds of stars, the press, and celebrities will be eating our food. They value the universal reach of our products and our clean ingredient standard. Vegetarian, Kosher, non-GMO, no preservatives—our products are for everyone and are a quick delicious meal that focuses on nutrition and health."
The GOFoods donation of its Grab-and-Go Gourmet survival backpack is full of natural, easy-to-prepare nutritious meals and beverages; just by adding water, these products make a wonderful and healthy family meal or a meal for someone in need now or in 25 years.
