The leading personal finance site will release its "Best Banks" rankings, revealing the best online, brick-and-mortar and military banks, as well as the best bank account products
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 30, 2014 /PR Newswire/ -- To help connect consumers to the best banks and bank accounts of 2015, GOBankingRates is rolling out its third annual "Best Banks" rankings. Over 120 financial institutions were evaluated spanning six "Best Banks" categories. A wide range of factors were considered, including product interest rates, fees and minimum balance requirements, Bauer Financial star ratings, range of product offerings, customer support services and more.
The 10 best banks of 2015 will be revealed in the following categories:
- Best Savings Account – Jan. 12
- Best Checking Account – Jan. 19
- Best Certificate of Deposit – Jan. 26
- Best Online Bank – Feb. 2
- Best Brick-and-Mortar Bank – Feb. 9
- Best Military Financial Institution – week of Feb. 16
