Go Naked (from the neck up!) for a Good Cause!
Hashtag Your Makeup-free Selfie, #RFGoNaked, on July 8th & Rodan + Fields Prescription for Change Foundation will donate $5 to buildOn
SAN FRANCISCO, July 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Embrace the #nomakeup selfie movement and go naked (from the neck up!) on July 8th to raise money for an important cause with prestige skincare brand, Rodan + Fields #RFGoNaked Day.
The Rodan + Fields Prescription for Change® Foundation will host their third annual #RFGoNaked Day event on Friday, July 8th. For every makeup-free selfie using #RFGoNaked posted on social media during this 24-hour event, Rodan + Fields will donate $5.00 to buildOn, their philanthropic partner. buildOn empowers youth to give back directly to their own communities through service-learning programs in their schools. The goal for #RFGoNaked Day is to offer more students life-changing opportunities by raising enough funds to open a new location of buildOn.
As celebrities, influencers and social savvy individuals support 'selfie' esteem, there is no better way to encourage confidence and raise money to support students in need on their journey to becoming a prescription for change in their communities. #RFGoNaked Day influences thousands to take philanthropic action and creates awareness of the real-life struggles students face each year.
Amnon Rodan, Chairman of Rodan + Fields and Prescription for Change® Foundation, shares, "Helping others and giving them the tools to create opportunities to change lives is at the very core of our mission. Social Media is such a powerful platform and our hope is that the results of #RFGoNaked Day will impact the lives of youth throughout the country for years to come."
